Ellerslie On The UP!!!

Congratulations to Ellerslie 2nd XI who, this season have secured promotion to Division F of the SNCL after claiming the Division G championship. This is a great achievement especially after winning just three out of the first seven games. However a run of nine wins from ten saw the side claim the title on the final day of the campaign.

Congratulations must also go to the Sunday 1st XI who have gained promotion to Division 2 of the Newark Alliance. The side finished the season as runners up to Lenton in Division 3, winning eleven out of their eighteen games whilst losing just four.

The 1st XI have enjoyed their most successful season ever by finishing 5th place in Division A of the SNCL after two successive promotions.
Despite missing out on a second successive promotion, on the final day of the season, the 3rd XI enjoyed their highest ever positional finish in the SNCL, finishing 3rd in Division P, which concludes probably the most successful season in the clubs history.
